Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you get it removed.
1. Who controls your data
Epik Proxy, Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller. Privacy questions go to support@epikproxy.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash
- Order data: proxy type, location, duration, amount paid
- Payment data: transaction reference, amount, status, crypto or bank reference
- Technical data: IP address at sign-in, browser type, device type
- Support data: messages you send us through the contact form or email
We never see or store your full card number — card and bank details are handled entirely by our licensed payment processors.
3. Why we use it
- To create and operate your account (contract)
- To deliver proxies and process payments (contract)
- To detect fraud and abuse (legitimate interest)
- To meet accounting and anti-money-laundering obligations (legal duty)
- To answer your support requests (contract)
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: our infrastructure and database provider, our upstream proxy network provider (to provision the IPs you order), our payment processors (Plisio for cryptocurrency and our Naira payment partner), and our email provider. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement. We also disclose data where a valid court order or law-enforcement request requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is open, and for 6 years afterwards where tax and accounting law requires it. Sign-in and technical logs are kept for 90 days. Support messages are kept for 24 months.
6. Security
- All traffic to the site and dashboard is encrypted with TLS
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form
- Database access is protected by row-level security rules per account
- Administrative access is restricted and role-checked on the server
7. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to processing, or receive it in a portable format. Email support@epikproxy.com and we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage: to keep you signed in, remember your currency preference, and keep the dashboard responsive. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will tell you by email or in the dashboard before the change takes effect.
